My experience with paintball
(If you are new to paintball, you may want to read this
introduction to get some background info.)
My first encounter with paintball was in May 1996. I'd just discovered
that a new army surplus shop across the street from where I lived was
into paintball equipment as well as all the usual stuff. I hired
everything I needed and headed out to find the place I was adviced to
go. The people I met there really surprised me with their helpfulness
as I was taught the basics of paintball. It didn't take more than 5
minutes of the first game before I realized that paintball was my kind
of thing (guess some people never grow up, eh?)
Spyder..not the best marker, but excellent value for money.
Ugluk on the white team.
The paintball scene in Trondheim
The scene in Trondheim is not very well organized. There are a couple
of loosely organized teams, but most players don't belong to any team
at all. At least not in any other way than the formal (to get
discounts on equipment and paint). Despite the fact that there must be
at least 50-100 people having their own equipment, I've never seen
more than 25-30 playing at the same time.
Fields
These are the "fields" we usually play on:
- Blyberget

- St.Hanshaugen
- Fossegrenda
Shops
- Armybutikken
- Dreamlands
- (Armyshop)
Resources
There's a lot of paintball resources available online. A few that I
find especially valuable are:
